TEHRAN July 4 -- Syrian President Bashar al-Assad met with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Sunday.
In the meeting, Leader expressed hope that Syrian president's visit to Iran would provide opportunities for further cooperation between the two countries.
Assad and the Leader discussed different issues, calling for a stable Iraq.
